deanna’s blue ombre hair by me :)

Wednesday Aug 22 01:03amdid @missdmd colbalt blue to aqua green ombre last night. came out pretty well. just waiting for her to send me a picture of it styled.
this weather is doin’ work on my skin! i spent most of my day out in the sun yesterday and i forgot to apply sunscreen so i’m a little blotchy and sunburned. i decided to give myself a facial because my skin’s gotten so dry, red and even peely in some spots. since i’m a professional skin care specialist, i thought i would share my technique for those who are on a budget.
products i used: skin medica’s facial cleanser, a sample i got from sephora of ole henriksen’s walnut complexion scrub, my dermalogica facial brush, dermalogica’s intensive moisture mask, pharmagel’s botanical tonique facial toner, and target’s up & up brand oil free dual treatment moisturizer (as compared to clean and clear’s dual action moisturizer).
you don’t have to use what i used because everyone’s skin is different. this technique will also work with other products as well. but i have combination oily/dry skin so i used what suits my skin type.
step one - first cleansing. i applied two pumps of skin medica’s facial cleanser to my wet hands. emulsified and applied to my face in circular motions all over. rinsed with warm water.
step two - a second cleanse, but this time i used my dermalogica facial brush, which is called a “power cleanse” to really work out all the dirt from my pores. rinsed with warm water.
step three - i applied some ole henriksen’s walnut complexion scrub to my damp face and used my dermalogical facial brush to really slough off dead skin cells and build up. washed off with warm water.
step four - applied an even layer of dermalogica’s intensive moisture mask all over face (excluding eyes) and let sit for ten minutes. then washed off with cool water to help close pores.
step five & six - lightly misted pharmagel’s facial toner evenly all over face and stippled it with my finger tips. then i applied one pump of up & up’s dual treatment moisturizer. and surprisingly for it being a generic brand, i am impressed with how soft and new my skin feels!
